The dangers of going to Hobbycraft by ones-self!

Afternoon everyone,

Well I put a post on Facebook about having to be reminded not to go to Hobbycraft by myself. It was fatal. I only went in to look. But alas dear friends, the lure of the fabric, buttons, paper and other loveliness was too much. So here is what I spent some of my hard earned on: (and anyway, I had to have it to replenish my stash...)

A very big bag o' stuff!

More lovely buttons

This is the tub and mug given to me by a lovely friend.
So you see 'twas fate... :)

In the new tub (recycled from a mug my friend
gave me as a present

Rather new lovely fabric and threads- god knows what I'll use it for!

And here we have... a new little plain journal that I am going to create a lovely textile jacket for- perhaps as a guest / birth / memory book. I've had this idea for a while now so I was quite chuffed when I came across this little beaut.

OOhhhh who can't resist new papers?!!

And wait for it.....

TA-DAH! Just one of the new things I've created from some of that lovely stuff! See- I told you it was worth going in...

  3. A woman after my own heart oh how I do love buttons. I have a special button tin which never seems to go down as I keep buying more :-/. If you are anything like myself it is not safe to leave me at any crafting establishment. I always leave with a full bag and an empty purse x x x x

  4. I'm not too bad in hobby craft, my passion is The Range! I always spend so much in there as their craft section is brilliant in our one.
Looks like you had a great time though :-)
